The Temptation
Little Johnny walked into the candy store with wide eyes and a big smile. He couldn't wait to get his hands on all the colorful candies that lined the shelves of the store. The shopkeeper saw Johnny's excitement and asked him what he wanted to buy. Johnny pointed to the candies and said he wanted all of them.
The shopkeeper smiled and asked Johnny to choose a few candies. Johnny's eyes sparkled with joy as he picked up a few colorful candies and put them in his basket. But then he saw a big jar of his favorite candy, the one he had been craving for weeks. He picked up the jar and looked at the price tag. His face fell as he realized he didn't have enough money to buy it.
The Dilemma
Johnny's heart sank as he realized he couldn't buy his favorite candy. He looked at the jar longingly, and then he had an idea. Maybe he could sneak the candy into his basket without the shopkeeper noticing. He reached out to take a handful of candy, but then he saw something that made him stop.
In the corner of his eye, Johnny saw a little girl who was staring at him. She looked sad and hungry. Johnny realized that he had more than enough candy and that the little girl probably didn't have any. He decided to put the jar back and walked over to the little girl.
The Act of Kindness
Johnny went over to the little girl and gave her some of his candy. The little girl's face lit up with joy as she took the candy from Johnny. Johnny felt a sense of happiness and pride in his heart as he watched the little girl enjoy the candy. He realized that he had done something good and that it felt great.
Johnny walked back to the candy jar and put it back on the shelf. He smiled at the shopkeeper and said he didn't want the candy anymore. The shopkeeper was surprised but happy to see Johnny's act of kindness. He gave Johnny a few extra candies as a reward for his good deed.
The Lesson Learned
Johnny walked out of the candy store with a happy heart and a big smile. He felt proud of himself for doing something good. He learned that doing the right thing is always better than taking the easy way out. He also learned that sharing and kindness can bring happiness not only to others but also to oneself.
Conclusion
Little Johnny's act of kindness may seem small, but it had a big impact on the little girl's life. It also taught him an important lesson that he will carry with him for the rest of his life. Let us all learn from Johnny's example and strive to do something good for others every day. Who knows, maybe a small act of kindness can change someone's life for the better.
